Roseate Tern Trail Port Elizabeth

A 9 km walk with considerable variety. It takes one along the beach past the Cape Recife lighthouse and Thunderbolt Reef, through part of the nature reserve where there is a bird hide for viewing the water fowl and through the dunes to an observation point which formed part of the defenses during the Second World War.

The nature of this trail is such that it also can be broken down into a variety of shorter walks.
